Throughout our region of Appalachia, hard-working people have had their water poisoned and property destroyed by pipeline construction. Right here in our backyard our neighbors are relying on buying bottled water to survive. This landowners’ water went bad the day Sunoco began construction of the Mariner East Pipeline. This is a growing trend and we’re asking for your help to put an end to it.

HERE'S HOW WE CAN HELP

Fair Shake wants to share the stories of people affected by pipelines and connect them with resources to help secure the justice they deserve. Beginning in November 2019, we will be hosting workshops in communities along the route of the Falcon pipeline to help people impacted by its construction and operation connect with each other and find ways to lessen the damage they are already facing.

Only 20% of legal cases get representation in rural, low-income communities. That means for every case we take on, 4 more families are dealing with this on their own. They need someone to turn to who will protect their rights and defend their environment. We can change that.

We are asking you to join us on #GivingTuesday as we work to raise $2500 to support these workshops and others like it. Our neighbors need us, and we need you. Everyone deserves a fair shake.
