Krissy Kasserman is the Youghiogheny Riverkeeper with the Mountain Watershed Association based in Melcroft, PA. The Riverkeeper and Mountain Watershed Association are fighting to protect the Indian Creek and Greater Youghiogheny watersheds from the effects of mining in order to preserve the aesthetic, ecological, and recreational value of the region.
