Environmental Risk

The dangers of living close to Oil and Gas operations are well documented. Our region is the testing grounds for how oil and gas can coexist with rural, suburban, and even urban life. More people are living within 1 mile of a producing well in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia than anywhere else on earth. But wells aren’t the only environmental risks. Hydraulic fracturing for shale gas, known as fracking, requires a complicated network of wells, pipelines, compressor stations, processing facilities, and hazardous waste processing facilities.

Protecting our rights

Our attorneys appeal permits, challenge laws, and demand reconciliation for irresponsible industry practices. We fight to keep that risk at bay and to protect the rights of innocent, hardworking individuals when the inevitable happens. And we do it at a rate that our clients can afford. Often that means for free.

We stand beside our clients, educating them along the way. We advocate for their goals whether that be fighting to stop a new well or simply restoring their drinking water.
